We decide to watch the series "How I Met Your Mother" in original version with english subtitles. For this, we have to watch two episodes per week and make a summary of them.
During the holidays, we decided to watch a movie and after that to tell the story to our binomial who has to guess the title of the film.
1st Film : My film was released in the cinema in 2005, it was produced by Clint Eastwood. The main actors are Morgan Freeman, Hilary Swank and Clint Eastwood. In this story Clint Eastwood is a boxing teacher named Frankie, his boxer leaves him for a more famous caoch and beats the world champion. He is alone but he meets a girl named Maggie, who will become his new student. In the first time he refuses to caoch a girl but Maggie insists and finaly he accepts. In a few time Maggie becomes a high boxer and she wins all her fights. Frankie accepts a fight with the world champion for Maggie. During this fight she falls on a chair and she losts the use of her body. Finaly, after Maggie ‘s two suicide tantatives, Frankie kills her.
Answer : Million Dollar Baby.
2nde Film : My film happens from october 1989 to one year after the Berlin Wall falls. It's the story of Alex's family. First we learn his father went to West Berlin in order to have a better life. His mother didn't want to go with because she was afraid of being arrested by the Stasi. After this breaking, she engages herself in the East Berlin Party. This films starts when Alex participates at a violent demonstration. His mother sees him when he is arrested and hurt by the police and she is so afraid and shocked that she makes a non-fatal heart-attack and falls in a coma. She awakes eight months later . During these months, the Berlin Wall falls and everything changes in Berlin.. Nevertheless her doctor explains that the least shock can provoke an other heart-attack. Kowning that his mother was setting a high value upon the last system, he decides with his sister and some neighbours to keep the illusion that nothing happens during these eight mouths. They use a lot of stratagem to keep her in life but finally she dies. We never know if she understands the true or if she believes the illusion.
